Anthropology is broadly divided into four subfields: 1. Cultural Anthropology – Study of contemporary cultures and societies. 2. Biological or Physical Anthropology – Study of human biological diversity and evolution. 3. Linguistic Anthropology – Study of languages in their social and cultural contexts. 4. Archaeological Anthropology – Study of past human societies through material remains.
